Our Rural Entrepreneurship Course aims to support starting local entrepreneurs in taking the next essential steps in making their regenerative business more viable.

Our Rural Entrepreneurship Course is aimed at existing and starting agribusinesses that seek to professionalize and diversify their income. To start a sustainable agro-business in the countryside of southern Spain many obstacles have to be overcome. This course is for entrepreneurs who:

  • Would like to improve their business strategy and visibility in the territory

  • Are looking for a network and learning community of inspired local entrepreneurs

  • Would like to develop new ideas about how their business can be more sustainable

Challenges in the agricultural system such as the depopulation of rural areas, population aging, lack of young people, and little entrepreneurial spirit make it hard to start a business. Young entrepreneurs face an uncertain future and therefore the Regeneration Academy is looking for ways to support them and to give them the tools and confidence that is needed to push their business ideas through.

During the course the entrepreneurs learn the importance of organizing and giving value to their business idea and creating strategic alliances in the territory that can create positive synergies that are vital to take the business forward in this territory.

Between the official workshops the participants receive one-on-one coaching focussed on their individual challenges and personal development.

This course is organized together with TheRockGroup, a sustainable consultancy firm from the Netherlands and is inspired by the 4 Returns of Commonland and the Spanish AlVelAl Association.
